Mindvara Privacy Policy

Information stored on your device

Mindvara stores game progress, scores, streaks, skill history, goals, preferences, reminder settings, subscription state, analytics consent, and a random anonymous installation identifier in local app storage. This information supports offline play and personalization.

Optional Mindvara account and cloud sync

You may use Mindvara without creating an account. If you choose to sign in, Mindvara collects your email address to send a one-time login code through Resend. The service stores your account identifier, email address, hashed session and login-code information, subscription entitlement, and synchronized progress in a Cloudflare-hosted database. Raw login codes and raw session tokens are not stored.

Cloud sync may include your training progress, scores, goals, preferences, streaks, and related app state. Your email is used for authentication, account support, and account-related service messages—not for advertising.

Accountability and social features

If you use optional accountability features, Mindvara may process an accountability display name, invitation email addresses, partner relationships, challenge titles and dates, check-ins, streaks, workout totals, optional notes, reactions, blocks, and reports. This information is used only to provide and protect those features. Information you submit to a connected accountability partner may be visible to that partner.

AI coaching

AI coaching is available only to signed-in users with an eligible subscription. To generate coaching, Mindvara may send selected training metrics—such as your goal, daily and weekly targets, active days, streak, workout totals, strongest or priority skill, and average score—to OpenAI. Mindvara sends a hashed safety identifier rather than your email address or name. Coaching responses and limited request context may be cached to operate the feature and control usage.

AI coaching is motivational game guidance. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, cognitive assessment, or a promise of health or intelligence outcomes.

Optional analytics

Mindvara asks before enabling anonymous analytics. If you consent, TelemetryDeck may receive the anonymous installation identifier and events such as app opens, onboarding completion, workouts, skill-lane use, progress views, paywall views, and successful subscriptions. Lieta Studios does not intentionally send your name, email address, free-form notes, or account content to TelemetryDeck. You may change the analytics choice in Mindvara settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes iOS purchases through StoreKit. Lieta Studios receives product, transaction, renewal, expiration, refund, and entitlement status needed to activate and restore a subscription, but not your complete payment-card details. If a web subscription option is offered, Stripe processes its payment and billing information under Stripe’s privacy terms.

Notifications

If you enable daily training reminders on iPhone or iPad, they are scheduled locally on your device. You can change notification permission in system settings.

Service providers

Mindvara uses Apple for App Store distribution and purchases, Cloudflare for application hosting and account storage, Resend for one-time login emails, TelemetryDeck for consent-based anonymous analytics, OpenAI for optional AI coaching, and Stripe only for an applicable web subscription. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Data sharing and tracking

Lieta Studios does not sell your personal information. Mindvara contains no third-party advertising and does not use information to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Retention, account deletion, and your choices

Local information remains on your device until you reset Mindvara or delete the app. Cloud account information is retained while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, billing, support, and legal obligations. You can use Delete account inside Mindvara to remove the account and associated cloud records. Apple or Stripe may retain transaction records under their own legal obligations.

You can decline analytics, avoid creating an account, leave accountability features unused, disable reminders, and continue using Mindvara’s core offline training.

Children

Mindvara is not directed to children under 13, and Lieta Studios does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

Security and policy updates

Mindvara uses encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections and security controls such as hashed authentication records, limited session duration, rate limiting, and verified purchase transactions. No system can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated when Mindvara’s features or providers change; the effective date will be revised.
